In thinking about.....

I'm just a girl, searching for where God wants me next, but living constanly in the present, reflecting on the past enough to see hope for the future.

HAFLA!

The title of this blog is not an experesion, but rather an event! I am behind on the blogging department, but about a month ago i went to a hafla, or a party of all women who belly dance while i group of men and women play the drums. dancing to live music! It was amazing! All the girls in my belly dancing class were there and my instructor and some random albertian girls. It was soo fun! I really am enjoying my belly dancing class and i think i am getting better at it then when i started!:) A random drum playing guy took my camera for a while, so the pictures will follow up soon.
On a totally differnt note Thanksgiving has come and gone and right now i am sitting in a coffee shop in Kalispell MT drinking a white chocolate and hucklberry coffee. It is amazing! THe music is relaxing and i am enjoy myself a lot. I have gone home with my roomate for the 4 day weekend and we have had a weekend of food, fun, and family. Not nessecarily in that combination, but it has been intresting. It is very cold here! I think it is about 30 degrees, and its a warm day. It has been into the teens for the high already this winter and it is only november. BUt we have had very little snow, but there is ice now.
My students wrote the school chrismtas play and so now we are in the middle of producing that, it is going well. i have enjoyed directing it, all that theater experaince at Dordt is finally starting to be helpful!:)
Things have been busy at school with all of the play pracitces, and gaining a new student. Last week, i got a new 4th grader, which means not only did i up my quanity of studnets to 6, i also added a grade i do not already teach. but things seem to be going well. Kalispell is one of the artsier places i have been in montana yet, but my roomate lives on a farm at the treeline. So it is beauftifyl out there. picutres to follow soon!
That about sums up the life in montana, i get to go home for chrisitmas in 4 weeks! I can hardly wait!
