In thinking about.....

I'm just a girl, searching for where God wants me next, but living constanly in the present, reflecting on the past enough to see hope for the future.

Success and Forgiveness

Today has been successful, i got the links back updated and then i didn't get any planning done, but oh well, but i also managed to order my ink for my classroom--i am a real teacher.
This weekend i learned about forgiveness in the biggest way.
Two important quotes:
"Grace is only free for the person reciving it"--pastor Joel
"I just need to do this, i need to applogize"--my college roomate

First lets start with the activties of this weekend:
Friday night: randomer calls me from singles church asking me to come play games, calls me during rush hour, we talk for a 1/2 an hr. This is wierd to me.
Sat. day: i rondevue with a sydney program friend and we go shopping, i buy useless clothes that have no school ability, but they are fun!
Sat. Night: i go to randomers from the singles church and play settlers and a car racing game on nitentdo with a few other people--one girl from Dordt, i know i know her but i don't know how.
I win at settlers, basicly its good, i get home LATE!
Sunday morning: I go to a good ole CRC church because last week i went to a baptisit church, i missed the CRC, but i loved the excitetment in the baptist church!:)
I go to a potluck and run into a college roomate (more to come on this later)
Sunday afternoon: i walk in the park, have a 1/2 hr conversation about cameras with a random lady.
Sunday night: back at the singles church, talk to the Dordt girl, she remembers--we went on a triple date togther one year! CRAZY! another guy asks me to play games on monday night---i decilne, maybe another time.
Monday: No school, good. I sleep in, try shopping again, eat soup, go to Catherine and Timothys, for tea and calzones.
It was a good weekend!

    hey rachel!!

wow, i can't believe you're in denver!! how do you like living there? what grade are you teaching? do you like it? do you know anyone else there from dordt, etc? are you living by yourself or with others?

we should keep in touch! i hope you're having a good time and are finding places to meet new people! life in a big city post-dordt is difficult, eh, especially because there aren't familiar faces anywhere when you walk down the sidewalk... but i hope you're enjoying yourself!
